Lake Highlands Public Improvement District is joining Dallas Police Department to host an outdoor movie night.
This time, there will be a family-friendly screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie at 6 p.m. on the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center lawn Aug. 1. The animated movie is based on the Nintendo video game characters and the titular plumber, Mario.
Snacks, drinks and frosty treats from Kona Ice will be available to neighbors during the event. The organization also encourages bringing your own blanket.
Lake Highlands North Recreation Center is located at 9940 White Rock Trail.
