The new development for a multipurpose center and park at Forest Audelia will kick off on Tuesday.
District 10 City Council member Adam McGough and Dallas Park and Recreation District 10 board member Scott Goldstein will be on site for the project kickoff event. Neighbors will have the opportunity to learn more about the transformation of the space.
In March, the Dallas City Council approved funding for the multipurpose center and an expansion of the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District. The development is broken into three phases, including neighborhood park, partial building and demolition and program space for educational partner.
The free event will be held at 10 a.m., June 13, at the Forest Audelia Boxing Gym.
