Lake Highlands YMCA
Lake Highlands Family YMCA has seen several renovations within the past year, including a newly upgraded indoor pool. Now it’s time for the locker rooms.
Phase I has already been completed, which included the expansion of one of the parking lots and increased parking capacity. Phase II on locker room renovation will begin May 8.
For neighbors hoping to use the locker rooms next week, that particular space will be closed off for 60 days to complete the renovation.
Phase III, the last phase in the YMCA’s renovation process, will include the family changing room and be closed until July. The center wants to be done with the locker room in time for the expansion in September, according to the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas website.
The renovated locker rooms will have four family restrooms with new lockers, flooring, lighting and more sitting stools.
