Texas Women’s Foundation is selling tickets for this year’s Leadership Forum and Award Celebration, which takes place April 27.
The ticket includes the forums, awards ceremony recognizing the 2023 Maura Women Helping Women and Young Leader Award recipients, dinner and panel discussion on leaders in advocacy and education moderated by TODAY co-host Jenna Bush Hager.
The following award honorees, which include a Lake Highlands neighbor, will host forums:
- Froswá Booker-Drew, Ph.D. (Dallas, TX) will host Breaking Economic Barriers, sponsored by Texas Capital Bank
- Ann Sheu, Mpowered Journey (Dallas, TX), “Professor” Bee Nance, Generation Teach (Katy, TX) will host Young Leader Forum: Empowering Community & Teaching Financial Freedom, sponsored by Amazon

Mary Pat Higgins (Lake Highlands, Dallas, TX) will host Championing Upstanders, sponsored by Haynes & Boone
- Aimee Boone Cunningham (Austin, TX) will host Amplifying Activism, sponsored by Cecilia and Garrett Boone
- Madeline Burillo-Hopkins, Ed.D. (Houston, TX) will host Building Potential, sponsored by Comerica Bank
- Jill Louis, Perkins Coie (Dallas, TX) will host Elevating Representation, sponsored by Thrivent
Ticket prices have been reduced from last year so that more can attend, according to Texas Women’s Foundation chairwoman and selection co-chair Hilda Galvan. Tickets for the forum are $144.
