Crystal Charity Ball is a nonprofit that supports and makes contributions to charities across Dallas County.

A gift of $799,218 will be dispersed over two years to the YMCA to revitalize the Park South location and create four new preschool classrooms. The YMCA has eight locations across Dallas, including the Lake Highlands Family YMCA.

“Our communities and members rely on us to provide quality, accessible services, and programming. It’s paramount that we continue to uphold the highest standard of excellence and care, especially among our young preschoolers who are beginning their new journey of learning,” said Curt Hazelbaker, President and CEO of The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas.

Other organizations that received funding include After School All Stars, Buckner Children and Family Services, Fair Park First, Family Gateway, Metrocare Services and The Salvation Army of North Texas.
