If you needed more plans for your weekend, here’s another one.
Ring in the Lunar New Year at Wok Star with dining specials and a dance performance this Sunday.
The event starts at 3 p.m. with a 30-minute lion dance performance. After the dance, Wok Star will debut a new cocktail and appetizer. Both items will be available through February.
- Down the Rabbit Hole – Tequila, Passion Fruit Liqueur, Lime Juice, Orange Juice, Carrot Juice, and Red Chili Syrup garnished with jalapeño and carrot.
- Rice Pearl Meatballs with Sticky Rice or zhēn zhū wán zi (珍珠丸子) – These Pearl Meatballs originated in China’s Hunan/Hubei region, where they’re considered a holiday or special occasion dish.
If you’d like to make a trip to the library Saturday before heading out for lunch on Sunday, there will also be Lunar New Year festivities at Forest Green Branch Library.
