Lake Highlands is getting its own Shell Shack location in the Creekside Shopping Center.
The local seafood chain specializes in seafood boils and shellfish, like crab, lobster and crawfish. The space it will move into at 6770 Abrams Road was previously Yogi’s Home Plate, right next to Alamo Drafthouse.
The East Dallas-based restaurant, which was established in 2013 by Dallas Hale and Matt Saba, was recently acquired by private equity firm TriSpan Partners. Since then, expanding the locations has been a goal.
Shell Shack is expected to open later this year, according to CultureMap.
