The neighborhood dining scene continues to bloom, this time with a chicken chain restaurant from Colorado.

Birdcall will set up shop in the former home of the old Chase Bank and Dairy Queen at Audelia and Walnut Hill. The restaurant has an anticipated opening date for this winter, according to Local Resident Realty.

The restaurant was created in 2016 by business partners Peter Newlin and Jean-Philippe Failyau in Denver Colorado.

Birdcall menu items include chicken tenders and sandwiches, salads, vegetarian choices and more. There’s also a community aspect— they give one percent of proceeds back to the community.

There are also other DFW locations as Birdcall expands through Texas, including Carrollton and Garland.

More details coming soon.
