Dallas Northeast Police Division has two community engagement events in the next few weeks for neighbors who are interested in getting involved.
The first one is coming up on July 12 and is a Volunteers In Patrol (V.I.P.) drive-thru fundraiser. It will be from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and take place at the Northeast Patrol Substation on 9915 Northwest Hwy.
A week later, on July 21, there will be a senior wellness and safety event for neighbors age 50 and over. This event will be from 9 – 11 a.m. at Lake Highlands High School. Dr. Kenneth, founder of Cooper Aerobics Center, will be the guest speaker.
Guests can expect visiting tables and vendors for the first half of the morning and a program during the second half.
