The weekend is upon us, and there’s plenty to do. There happen to be two holidays this year on June 19: Juneteenth and Father’s Day. Let’s see what there is to do this weekend in and around our neighborhood.

There’s also a kickball game following later that day starting at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Starts off at Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet parking lot
When: 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 18. Festival begins at noon on Willowdell.
Oak Highlands Pitmaster BBQ class
Where: Oak Highlands Brewery. Tickets are $50.
When: 12 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18
Faces of Dallas debuts at Dallas Arboretum
Where: DeGoyler House at Dallas Arboretum
When: 1 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 19
