Dallas Chamber Symphony hosts Dallas International Piano Competition

Edit: The semifinals are on Friday evening, not Saturday.

The semifinals of the Dallas International Piano Competition happen today at Richland College.

Dallas Chamber Symphony presents the competition, which features aspiring performers and formally trained pianists from around the world. The event is free and open to the public.

There are two semifinal sessions for solo recitals from 3 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Semifinal results will be announced at 9:30 p.m. The following pianists will perform:

Competiton finals are June 24 at Moody Performance Hall featuring three finalists. Though the semifinals competition is free to attend, the finals are ticketed. Reserved seating tickets range from $24 – $54.

Richland College Fannin Hall is located at 12800 Abrams Road.
