Two weeks after a toddler was attacked by a coyote in Lake Highlands, the new coyote hotline has been ringing with tips, KXAS reports.
A new Coyote Management Plan was presented at a community meeting on May 9.
Dallas Animal Services received 85 coyote sighting calls in the first week.
Four coyotes have been killed since a 2-year-old was attacked in White Rock Valley on May 3, including the one that matched the description in the attack.
Do not approach coyotes if you spot them, and contact the hotline at 469.676.9813.
