Several families were displaced after an apartment fire Tuesday night.
At 9:58 p.m. Tuesday night, Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a fire on the second and third floor of Forest Hills Apartments located at 9659 Forest Lane.
Flames from the fire started at the second floor before spreading to the third floor and out from the roof of the three-story building.
A total of 24 apartment units were involved, but there were no reported injuries. The third alarm fire brought 60-70 firefighters out in response to bring the fire under control.
