Lake Highlands neighbor Brian Luscher is just one of the many Dallas chefs featured in Piehole Project’s auction and variety show, which goes live on Oct. 28 in the Dallas Design District.
Luscher, representing his restaurant 33 Restaurant Group will be debuting two pies because he couldn’t decide. His creations are, in fact, titled “I Can’t Decide So I Made 2 Pies.”
The first pie is a deep-dish honey crisp crumb pie. The second pie is an Old Grand Dad 100 Texas pecan pie.
Luscher has had multiple culinary ventures, from Post Oak Red Hots to hot dogs at White Rock Local Market. Since the closing of Luscher’s restaurant The Grape, he’s become director of culinary operations and baker of pies.
The pie auction, which went live on Oct. 18 and runs though Oct. 28, is part of FestEvents Foundation’s fundraiser for Piehole Project’s scholarships for culinary and hospitality students.
