Richardson ISD’s calendar for the 2021-2022 school year has been approved.
The board of trustees approved calendar option B at its March 8 meeting. This calendar starts the school year on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 and ends the year on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Community feedback led to 191 votes for option B and 44 votes for option A, said RISD Deputy Superintendent Tabitha Branum at the meeting.
