Three teachers at Lake Highlands area schools were awarded Richardson ISD’s Super Teacher Award this quarter.
The award honors teachers exemplifying innovative teaching and effective instruction for the best student learning. Nominations are accepted throughout the school year and winners are recognized after each nine-week grading period.
Lake Highlands teachers awarded include kindergarten teacher Catherine Needham at White Rock Elementary, fifth grade teacher Jessica Mickish at Forest Lane Academy and Spanish teacher Elizabeth Garcia at Lake Highlands High School.
