If you’re already tired of the holidays, then you’re out of luck for stuff to do this weekend.

Friday night, Oak Highlands Brewery is throwing a Beer and Carols party. Enjoy some beer, food trucks and Christmas carols. A live bnand will lead some classic tunes, easy to sing along for even the biggest Grinch in the group. Check out the details for the free event here.

Rather sip on coffee than beer? Head to another Friday night singing event at White Rock Coffee. A band will cover folk-rock takes on Christmas classics along with some originals and ’60s covers. More info here.

Saturday, still in the mood to sing? Really? Well, End Zone is throwing a Christmas song karaoke contest. Share some holiday joy and sing your holiday heart out. You just might win some prizes and local bragging rights. Not into singing? Join in on the prize wheel giveaway, or food and drinks. More info here.

By Sunday, if you’re just seriously tired of holiday carols, singing and everything holiday related, head to Alamo Drafthouse for a Star Wars Cosplay Tour.  Enjoy opening weekend of “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker.” Featuring appearances by The North Texas Squad of the 501st Legion, Kessel Base of the Rebel Legion, Voidstar Spire of The Dark Empire, and the DFW Astromech Builders Club, and The Murraan Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs. Sure the movie has a low 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, that won’t stop die hards from going. Buy tickets here.
