After 5 years at the Lake Highlands Town Center and 3 years on top of Flag Pole Hill, 2019 is the year the Exchange Club’s Lake Highlands Oktoberfest goes big time and becomes Oktoberfest Dallas. The event has always drawn patrons and families from all over town, but this year Exchangites have more sponsors and are expecting more fun than ever before.
Oktoberfest Dallas runs Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Flag Pole Hill.
Entertainment will feature live music from Rhymin’ n’ Stealin’, Petty Theft, the Lupners, Run for Cover and Dee Jay Cee Pee, with the Lake Highlands High School cheerleaders, Highlandettes and Wranglers also performing.
You can check out the performance schedule here.
Food will be available from Cedar & Vine, One90 Smoked Meats, Urban Crust, Shady’s, Aw Shucks, the Knights of Columbus, Pokey O’s, Bahama Buck’s, DizziCream, Haute Sweets, Steel City Pops and Kuby’s, among others. Entry is $12 (kids under 4 are free), and tickets for food and games are $1 each (see online discounts and purchase tickets here).
