If you’re an alum of Wildcat baseball, this is your last chance to sign up and suit up for Saturday’s Alumni Classic. The game is now set for 1 p.m. at LHHS’ The Cat, with a noontime chili and hot dog lunch for participants and guests. More than 50 players are registered, and Cedar & Vine is paying for jerseys. The Stell Family is also sponsoring, along with some alums from the LHHS classes of 1990, 1991 and 2011.
If the old grey mare just ain’t what she used to be – or if you’re a fan, not an alum, of Wildcat baseball – come cheer from the stands. Admission to all LHHS baseball games is free.
The fun begins Friday night at 5 with the varsity scrimmage, followed at 7:30 by a home run derby. The entire community is invited to Shady’s afterward – about 9 Friday night.
