Pie Day at Norma’s

You don’t have to guess how many jelly beans are in a jar or eat an entire gargantuan steak or purchase a meal. Today/Wednesday at Norma’s Café, you can enjoy a free slice of pie – just for walking in.

All 5 Norma’s locations, including the one at Park Lane and Central, will celebrate National Pie Day all day by sharing a free slice of Mile-High Pie. Flavors include coconut, chocolate, lemon, chocolate peanut butter and Oreo.

“We are thrilled to continue sharing our passion for pie with our guests for the tenth year in a row,” said Ed Murph, owner of Norma’s. “Our team’s favorite saying is posted in all of our restaurants: Life is short…Eat dessert first!”

Norma’s has also brought back for January its Birthday Cake Pie, made with birthday cake-flavored cream and Oreo bits. Proceeds from sales will go to The Birthday Party Project, a local nonprofit which brings joy to children living in homeless shelters. Kids will enjoy themed parties, complete with activities, games, decorations and cakes. For some, it will be their first-ever birthday party.

Norma’s Café is located at 9100 North Central Expressway. They’re open from 6 a.m to 8 p.m, and pie-bliss begins at 10:30.
