Dr. Philip Huang will enter a new role as Dallas County’s health director with a few challenges: the aftermath of his predecessor’s sexual abuse scandal, rising STD rates, electric scooter crashes, and widespread income disparity.
Adjusting to a new city, though, is not one of those obstacles. Huang grew up in Dallas and is a Lake Highlands High School graduate.
