A 17-year-old was shot and killed Sunday, Oct. 14, at Briarwyck Apartments.
Patrol officers were called to 10110 Walnut Street at about 1:45 a.m., according to the Dallas Police Department. Inside an apartment, they found Arthur Holloway injured with a gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Holloway to the hospital. The teen was pronounced dead at about 7 a.m.
Witnesses told police that they went to the store after hosting a birthday party. When they returned, they heard a gunshot and saw three men running out of the apartment.
Police determined that a 16-year-old was responsible for Holloway’s death. The teen turned himself into detectives, was taken to Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center and charged with murder.
