Update: Police have arrested the shooter, who was identified as 29-year-old Armando Luis Juarez.
Two officers and a civilian were injured after shots were fired near Home Depot in the 11600 block of Forest Central Drive, according to WFAA.
Police received an “assist officer with ambulance” call at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. The two officers were critically wounded, and the civilian’s condition is unknown.
Law enforcement is searching for the suspect, and the Forest Lane DART Station has been shut down. DART spokesman Mark Ball told the Dallas Morning News passengers aren’t permitted to enter or exit the trains so that the suspect cannot leave the area.
