The Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (LHPID) and Dallas City Councilman Adam McGough are hosting Trunk or Treat in the parking lot of Royal Highlands Shopping Center on Halloween night, and they’ll be handing out candy and goodies to trick-or-treaters of all ages. LH youth are invited to dress in costume to join in the fun at the corner of Skillman and Royal Lane.

Volunteers are also being recruited for the Trunk or Treat to decorate cars and provide and distribute candy. If your family, church, business or organization is willing, you mail download a registration form here and/or email Vicky Taylor at the LHPID at lhpidpublicsafety@gmail.com. About 250 kids are expected, and prizes will be given for cars with the most creative and elaborate theme and decorations. Set up begins at 4 p.m. and Trunk or Treat runs from 5:30 to 7. If you’d prefer to simply make a contribution, donations of candy (or checks to buy candy) will be received at the LHPID office, 9090 Skillman, #182A.
