Over the years Lake Highlands High School has shared a stadium with Berkner High School.  With the two teams having to share their “home” field, there is some bad blood between the two. The prize of winning is the name, Wildcat-Ram Stadium or Ram-Wildcat Stadium.  Last year Lake Highlands won, so the name remains in their possession.

(The Wildcats lost a heartbreaker in 2011, but we captured some memorable moments).

Berkner comes into this game 2-1 after winning back to back games the past weekends. Lake Highlands comes in 0-3, but the team seems prepared for this one. Senior quarterback Jamie Patterson explains, “This is more than wins and losses. This is tradition and we are ready to play.”

Come out and support your team. This is the first district matchup for the Wildcats and it will be a game to remember. This Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m at Wildcat-Ram Stadium. Tickets at the gate are $5 for adults at $3 for kids.
