It’s Opening Day in Lake Highlands Tuesday, with the Wildcat baseball team hosting Berkner and the girls’ softball team facing Richardson. The baseball and softball fields are side-by-side behind the tennis courts, and admission is free.
Steel City Pops, Dallas’ go-to, gourmet popcicle joint, will be on-hand selling icy treats, and 20% of proceeds will kick back to the softball and baseball programs.
