Forgive the Highlandettes if they’re dragging a bit this morning. The Lake Highlands High School drill team just returned from their Spring Break trip to Italy to perform and tour, and they say whirlwind visit was the experience of a lifetime.
They floated along the canals of Venice, danced with an Italian group in Jesolo and shopped (as girls will) in Florence. They dined at an olive oil farm in Tuscany, toured the historic city of Assisi and saw the Roman Coliseum and Trevi Fountain. They performed for children at a hospital in Rome and at an elementary school in the village of Tarquinia. And, of course, they took lots of photos. You can see all of the beautiful pics taken by Dette Dad Greg Dale here.
