It was late on Saturday night when a thief broke into a Lake Highlands’ garage, slowly rolled out the 1965 cherry-red Ford Mustang contained within, and spent another 20 mintes figuring out how to bypass the vintage auto’s security system before driving away in the beloved family car.
The crime was caught on a neighbor’s surveillance camera, and shared by NBC DFW.Â
The car’s license plate is JXJ-378. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Dallas Police at 214.670.4415.
