After David Stevens was killed on the White Rock Creek Trail in Lake Highlands about two weeks ago, his wife Patti Stevens spoke to the Dallas Morning News about her grief. Sunday, after a friend asked for a welfare check, sheriff’s deputies found Patti dead in the Sunnyvale home she had once shared with her husband.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has not released an official cause of death, but a spokesman for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department says suicide is suspected.
