A suspected kidnapper led police on a chase that ended in the northern part of Lake Highlands this morning a little before 10 a.m.
I happened to be in the area and heard a cacophony of sirens, but we have scarce information at this point.
At about 9:50 police responded to a “kidnapping in progress” call at Forest and Abrams. They arrived and the suspect fled and crashed near TI Blvd. and Campanella.
The suspect was already wanted on a parole violation. A spokesperson for the Dallas Police said the victim was unharmed. We will update this post as we learn more.
