DRC Best of Times Age-Handicapped 5-mile race — the Dallas Running Club hosts its annual staggered race. Based on age and gender, groups of runners get head starts of varying degrees. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Winfrey Point. It is $10 for non DRC members and free for members. Register online through Wednesday or at the event between 6:30-7:30 a.m.

El Corazon — This annual art show, a White Rock area favorite for more than 20 years, features paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography and mixed-media works by local artists, inspired by the heart. The opening reception, participating artists in attendance, welcomes the public from 7-9 p.m. The show runs through March 7.
