Even after closing up shop back in March*, the Lake Highlands-born Cake Ball Company is still going strong. In fact, business is so good that the owners are throwing a party this week, marking eight years of cake ball creation.
From 3-6 p.m. this Friday stop by the locally-owned gift shop T.Hee Greetings for door prizes, Times Ten Cellars wine, and the unveiling of “Cake cups.” (If they are the cake ball/peanut butter cup hybrids that I’m suspecting they are, I’m going to have to go hit the treadmill hard in the meantime.)
*Lochwood resident Robin Ankeny now sells her decadent, gooey confections online and at a handful of neighborhood stores, including T.Hee Greetings.
