The Goat Run at Flagpole Hill: By James Coreas
Following human 5k and 10k races, four man+goat teams competed in The Goat Run this past weekend at Flagpole Hill in Lake Highlands.
It all was part of an effort to raise money for nonprofits Seed Effect and Empower Sudan, which benefit the war and famine-affected South Sudan region of Africa. (Top fund-raisers over the past several months won the opportunity to race with goats).
