060417-N-8157C-162Lake Highlands United Methodist Church will host “Shout It Out!,” an All-American Concert and Ice Cream Social Sunday evening, June 30th. Performing will be John Williams, John Rutter and Relate, LHUMC’s worship band, featuring the music of John Mellencamp, Lady Antebellum, and Lee Greenwood’s “Born in the USA.”

The concert and ice cream are free, courtesy of the board of directors of Feed Lake Highlands. Feed Lake Highlands is an extension of the New Room Community Center, also an outreach of LHUMC, and is a faith-based effort to provide food and other assistance to those in need in Lake Highlands.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Sunday. LHUMC is located at 9015 Plano  Road at McCree.

She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
