‘A Wrinkle in Time’ begins tomorrow, March 22. For the 50th anniversary of the sci-fi classic, Dallas Children’s Theater draws in audiences with its top-notch production of an extra-terrestrial adventure across space and time. Saturday, The Lake Highlands Exchange Club casino party, dinner and auction, which gets rolling at 6:30 p.m., is one of the organization’s biggest yearly fundraisers. Two Lake Highlands sisters-in-law are taking action after three women in the area were attacked at home. They’re organizing a Prayer Walk for this Sunday, March 24, and they’re inviting all of LH to “cover the streets in prayer.” At 4 p.m., Jessica Stampes Haas and a group will gather at the corner of Church and Ferndale and walk in all directions. Mindee Haas will start at Gunnison and Claybrook. They’re encouraging others to join them or to walk and pray in their own little corner of Lake Highlands. More details here …
