Aid for Refugees is a student group at Lake Highlands High School supporting victims of conflict and brutality all over the world. Their primary annual fundraiser, set for this Thursday, turns the table and uses conflict for good. It’s a Battle of the Bands.

Judging from previous years, student bands with a variety of musical tastes and talents are likely to perform, from indie rock to country twang to oldies covers (yeah, they consider my music, probably yours “oldies”.) The always wacky Bell Boys will host the evening and keep the show moving.
