The slow-food kitchen is set to open this month.
Gina Paterno Villalobos plans to open Gina’s Organic Kitchen this month in the former Zac’s Café/ John’s Café spot at 10870 Plano.
Villalobos turned to wholistic nutrition after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Now she is a Kushi Institute-trained chef and a healthy living coach. The menu at Organic Kitchen will feature superfoods: quinoa salad, soups, shrimp pesto, free range proteins, salmon, quiche, wraps, desserts, muffins, cookies … the list goes on.
The foods are 100-percent cooked from scratch, according to the website. “There’s nothing quick about the process, no short cuts taken. Slow-cooking by us, but fast convenient eating for you. All you have to do is order and eat. It’s that easy to delight your taste buds, put super fuel into your body and stay super healthy!”
I, for one, am super pumped about Gina’s move to the neighborhood. Open. Open. Open.
