Last Friday, July 13, a passerby discovered a dead body under the Walnut Hill bridge near Moss Park. Police have not identified the man, except to say he’s about 40, hispanic and homeless, according to a report. Homicide detectives are investigating.
Monday, at about 6:20 a.m., someone broke into the Family Medicine clinic on Skillman, near Royal. Surveillance cameras show a hispanic or white male wearing a blue hoodie and white shorts breaking into the front door with a hammer. He made off with the 26-inch TV hanging in the waiting room. He may have been driving a gold four-door Honda Civic. The TV reportedly was worth about $150. That’s about $450 less than the cost of the damaged door and drywall.
A 33-year-old Kaufman man was inside a gas station at Skillman and Abrams Thursday, mid morning, paying for his pump, when a thief hopped into his ‘95 Jeep Cherokee and took off. The victim had left his keys in the ignition.
