According to the police report, the victim says at about 10 p.m. Sunday, a black male shot him in the stomach, then fled on foot.

In another store parking lot up the street, less than an hour later, an attempted shooting was reported. This time, two men were reportedly sitting in a Ford Ranger when an unknown suspect or suspects shot at them and then fled. It is unclear from the report whether this shooter was on foot or in a car, or whether police think the two incidents are related. We will keep you posted as this develops.

Just over a week ago a man was shot in the same EZ Trip parking lot where this incident occurred, though in that case, motive was more clear.
