Building a better marriage will be the topic of two seminars being offered by Lake Highlands United Methodist Church beginning in February. All couples, from newlyweds through empty nesters, whether church members or not, are invited.
“How to Energize Your Marriage” will be offered on five consecutive Friday evenings, from 6:30-9:30 pm, with Session 1 starting February 3rd and Session 2 starting April 20th. The cost is $12 (to cover the book) and Trish Callis will facilitate discussion at the church.
“The Art of Marriage,” facilitated by Mike Krejci and Trish Callis, will be a two-day marriage enrichment conference Friday, Feb. 24, 7-9:30 pm and Saturday 9-4. The cost is $40 per couple.
For both events, evening childcare will be provided. For $5 per child, crib-kids thru 4s will have pizza, crafts and a VeggieTale movie, while school-age kids will have pizza, games and flicks like Finding Nemo and The Great Muppet Caper.
You can get more info on the church website here and/or email Trish here to reserve your spot.
