A new clothing store has opened a location near our neighborhood. The Laguna Beach, Calif., store REUSE Jeans recently came in to the Shops at Park Lane next to the Aveda Institute. The grand opening celebration is 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
The eco-friendly shop offers a line of 80 percent recycled denim for men and woman, including jeans, jackets, vests, skirts and shorts (it’s buy one, get one free this weekend). Now, this isn’t simply used denim – the clothes are made brand new from recycled cotton.
REUSE is an acronym for “Recycle. Environment. U. Save. Earth.” It has boutiques throughout the country, but this is only its second flagship store.
