If you’re still looking for ideas for holiday gift-giving, Dallas Animal Services invites you to consider adopting a shelter pet this Christmas. They’re hosting a Creature Comforts party this Sunday from 1-4 pm, with pet adoptions only $30 and plenty of fun for the entire family. Donations will be collected, including treats for the animals (they love moist cat treats, rawhide dog chews and canned pet food) and clean, used linens (sheets, towels and bath mats only, please). Donors will be rewarded with free pet photos.
If you can’t make it Sunday, stop in any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday in December and adopt-a-pet for just $30 (doggies are normally $43). You can learn more about Dallas Animal Services, 1818 N. Westmoreland, at their website here.
