By every measure, Lake Highlands’ first annual Oktoberfest was a wild success. Exchange Club event chairmen Tate Gorman and Adam Meierhofer corralled their volunteers and made sure the kiddie face paint was warm and the German beer was cold. Judging by the long lines to buy frankfurters and the way cash was swiftly changing hands, it looked like the many food vendors were happy, too.

Our thanks go out to LH dad Doug Williams who let me add his pics to my photo slideshow. We’re looking forward to next year. Great job, Tate and Adam!
