Merriman Park Panthers welcomed their grandparents in September, hosting more than 200 guests for Grandparents Day activities. Students worked as docents, organizing tours and showing off the work they were proudest of. Grandparents enjoyed a trip to MPE’s unique Outdoor Learning Center, in addition to visiting their grandchildren’s classrooms, the library and the computer lab. School mascot Sparky made them feel welcome and posed for photos.
