Four Wildcats scored double-digit points for Lake Highlands Friday night in a 75-49 route of Samuell High.
Trey Bingham lead the way for the Wildcats with 22 points, Taylor Stell chipped in 16, James Preston, 15, and Tony Pikes, 13.
A strong first quarter gave the Wildcats a 20-7 lead. Though the Wildcats only scored nine points in the second quarter, they still had a seven point lead at halftime.
Lake Highlands had solid third and fourth quarters defensively, holding Samuell under 15 points in each, and keeping the Spartans from reaching 50 points on the night.
Lake Highlands plays again tonight at 7:30 p.m. against W.T. White.
