Brian and Courtney Luscher, Lake Highlands neighbors and owners of The Grape on Lower Greenville, will be using the former Stoney’s space next door to their restaurant until Jan. 1 for events. (Stoney’s has moved to Oram and Skillman.)
On Wednesdays, The Grape has been hosting wine tasting events; general manager and sommelier Courtney Luscher hosts the 6-7 p.m. events that include wine and hors d’oeuvres for $25. This Wednesday night’s feature is a Dallas company — Jim Richardson of Oak Cliff Cellars will feature four wines from his portfolio. If tasters choose to stay for dinner, they receive 15 percent off their food bill.
