Music lovers are in for a treat over the holidays as the Fightin’ Aggie Marching Band of Texas A&M University comes to Lake Highlands to rehearse for their Cotton Bowl appearance January 7th against LSU. They’ll be practicing at Wildcat Stadium and they invite you to swing by and give them a “whoop,” especially LHHS grads Stephanie Turner, a junior, and Tyler Patton, a freshman (or fish as they are called in the Corps).
Stephanie’s mom, Lisa, reports that she’s tickled pink to be rehearsing on home turf. Here’s their schedule:
- Wednesday, January 5th – 9-11am and 1-3pm
- Thursday, January 6th – 9-11am and 1-3pm
- Friday, January 7th – 9-10:30am.
