The Donor Bridge Get up and Give campaign runs 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, connects North Texas nonprofits and allows people to pick and choose which organizations they want to contribute to. Many of the nonprofits will match every donation of $25.
Of course, there are lots of Lake Highlands-based groups on the list, such as Healing Hands Ministries. I could list them all, but the Donor Bridge website makes it easy to find your favorite nonprofit. You can search by category and even plug in your zip code to find the ones in your neighborhood.
