Lake Highlands High School not only has a higher area ranking than every team in their district, they currently stand inside the Top 10.
The Wildcats big win over Mesquite gives the them a big advantage over District 9-5A rival Skyline who lost its season opener Friday night and currently sits at No. 10.
Lake Highlands heads back to Hanby Stadium Friday night to play Mesquite Horn.
