Months ago, when I wrote about improvement projects at White Rock Lake, a reader wrote in, “Why are there so many different groups benefiting White Rock? Why don’t they just join together?” It’s a good couple-a questions. You have the White Rock Lake Foundation (formerly Friends of White Rock Lake), For the Love of the Lake, and most recently, White Rock Lake Conservancy.
It’s easy to get them confused, if you’re not in the loop. In our June issue, we detail the various groups and pose (and sort of answer) the question, “Should they join forces?”
